Generating Waveform & Spectrogram Images

The above example of a waveform and spectrogram image was produced using Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Software Program Raven Lite 1.0. The above example was generated from the sound file of the Chestnut-backed Chickadee. When you click on one of the sound files in the Sound Index at the right, the waveform and spectrogram image coincides with the sound file being played.

Recording Equipment Used

All recordings were recorded with a Sony Digital Video Carmera Recorder TRV530. Most recordings have a bionic ear connected to the recorder.
