House Sparrow
House Sparrow
House Sparrows are a non-native species also known as English Sparrows. Some of them were brought over from England in the early 1850's. Today House Sparrows reside across the United States and into Canada. The bluebirds, purple martins, swallows and other passive hole-nesters are driven from their homes by these aggressive non-native birds.
You can read more about House Sparrows in the About section called Natural Enemies.
